Dr. Amir Yavari is a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist with more than 10 years of experience helping children achieve healthy, beautiful smiles. After graduating from the UCLA School of Dentistry, he completed a one-year internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Boston Medical Center, where he gained valuable experience treating children and adults with complex medical and surgical needs. He then completed his specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry through NYU Langone Dental Medicine, developing extensive expertise in caring for children, including those with special health care needs. Dr. Yavari has successfully performed thousands of dental procedures under general anesthesia and is committed to providing compassionate, individualized care in a safe and comfortable environment. He currently serves as the Clinical Director of Smile Land Pediatric Dentistry and Associate Director of the Pediatric Dental Residency Program at NYU Langone Dental Medicine. In addition to caring for his patients, Dr. Yavari enjoys teaching and mentoring the next generation of pediatric dentists.

Dr. Golnazarian received his dental degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry in 2013. He then went on to complete four years of rigorous training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx. While there, he served as a chief resident at Bronx Lebanon Hospital and Jersey City Medical Center. Dr. Golnazarian is passionate about providing outstanding oral surgery care. He is dedicated to providing each of his patients with an excellent experience. His practice is primarily focused on pre-prosthetic surgery and the replacement of missing teeth with dental implants, as well as the extraction of impacted wisdom teeth. Dr. Golnazarian places an emphasis on offering safe, in-office intravenous sedation to patients who might be anxious about undergoing oral surgery. He has a full permit-A license from the Massachusetts dental board to practice general anesthesia. He also has a certification in advanced cardiac life support.

Dr. Chloe Habib completed her undergraduate education at Boston University and was awarded her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. At Boston University, Dr. Habib graduated summa cum laude and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the only nationally recognized dental honor society, as a result of her high standards of scholarship, demonstration of exemplary traits of character, and the motivation and potential for continued professional growth.

Dr. Habib went on to complete her post-doctoral training in pediatric dentistry at the prestigious University of Maryland School of Dentistry.

Dr. Habib is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and Massachusetts Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Kim grew up in South Korea and moved to the San Francisco Bay Area when he was 17 years old. He attended University of California, Berkeley for his undergraduate degree in Engineering and began his career in Fashion Retail industry out of college. His passion for personal esthetics had pushed him through dentistry, where he obtained his dental degree in University of Michigan, and he continued his education in Orthodontics at Saint Louis University and became board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, a voluntary credential that represents orthodontist’s personal and public commitment to the standards of specialty practice.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time outside trying out different restaurants in the Greater Boston area. He is an avid tennis fan (yes, he can talk to you all day about Roger Federrer) and a player at a competitive level. His favorite teams are Golden State Warriors (Sorry, Celtics fans) and Michigan Wolverines. He is happily married to a pediatric dentist who also serves the greater boston area. His favorite shows are “The Office (DWIGHT!), Parks and Recreation (Lil’ Sebastian!), and Breaking Bads (Heisenberg!)”

Dr. Eriselda Bano is a dedicated pediatric dentist committed to providing every child with a positive, supportive, and confidence-building dental experience. She earned her first dental degree from the University of Tirana, Faculty of Dental Medicine, and continued her advanced education at the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, graduating with high honors and induction into Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU), the National Dental Honor Society. Dr. Bano completed her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Bano is known for her gentle, child-centered approach, emphasizing calm communication, behavior guidance, and trust-building techniques that help children feel safe and proud of their smiles. She values strong partnerships with parents and strives to ensure every family feels informed, supported, and confident throughout their dental care.

Outside the office, Dr. Bano enjoys traveling, hiking, and most of all spending time with family and friends. She is a proud mother of a little girl who inspires her daily to treat every child with the same care and compassion she would want for her own family.

Dr. Shahkar received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Boston University in 2014.

With a strong academic background and a special interest in orthodontics, Dr. Shahkar is dedicated to providing high-quality, personalized dental care in a calm and welcoming environment. He is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), staying up to date with the latest advances in dentistry.

Dr. Shahkar is known for his patient-centered approach. He takes time to sit one-on-one with each patient, maintaining eye contact and explaining every step of treatment in friendly, easy-to-understand language. He also uses dental models and online videos to help both parents and children feel informed, comfortable, and confident throughout their visits.

He is committed to making every patient feel safe, heard, and supported, creating a positive dental experience for the entire family.

In his free time, Dr. Shahkar enjoys cooking, playing tennis, working out at the gym, exploring new restaurants, and learning about artificial intelligence and robotics.

Dr. Andrew Moawad is a board-certified pediatricdentist dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality dental care in a warm, child-friendly environment. A native of Weymouth, Massachusetts, he is passionate about helping children build healthy smiles and positive dental experiences from an early age.

With a focus on preventive dentistry, early intervention, and patient education, Dr. Moawad works closely with families to promote lifelong oral health. He also provides pediatric dental care under general anesthesia in a hospital setting, ensuring safe and comfortable treatment for children with complex dental needs, anxiety, or special healthcare needs.

Dr. Moawad is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and completed his advanced pediatric dental training and DMD degree at Boston University School of Dental Medicine. Outside of the office, he enjoys staying active and participating in various sports.

Farnaz Chehrazi is a dedicated pediatric dentist with a DMD from the Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, recognized with an OKU award for excellence. She's an active member of ADA, MDS, and AAPD, deeply involved in community service.

Farnaz specializes in preventive pediatric treatments, employing advanced behavior management techniques and creating a kid- friendly office atmosphere. She actively participates in dental outreach programs and dental health education events, aiming to improve oral health in her community.

In her free time, Farnaz enjoys painting, biking, and spending time with family and friends at family-friendly events. Her mission is to provide accessible dental care to underserved children and families, positively impacting their oral health and overall well-being.

Dr. Shahzad Mumtaz received his bachelor’s degree from Williams College in 2019, where he was also a collegiate swimmer. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University in 2024, graduating summa cum laude and being inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. He was also honored with the International College of Dentists Student Humanitarian Award. Dr. Mumtaz continued his training at Boston University, completing his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Pediatric Dentistry in 2026. He currently serves as a Clinical Instructor of Pediatric Dentistry at Boston University and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Mumtaz takes a calm, friendly, and patient-centered approach to care, focusing on building meaningful connections and creating a warm environment where children feel safe and comfortable. A lifelong Massachusetts resident, he enjoys running along the Charles River Esplanade, watching the NBA, exploring new restaurants and coffee shops, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Haley Shapiro earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Touro College of Dental Medicine, where she graduated at the top of her class and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society. She completed her specialty training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists. Dr. Shapiro has extensive experience diagnosing, planning, and managing a wide range of orthodontic cases. Her patient-centered approach is grounded in evidence-based orthodontics, and she takes the time to understand each patient’s individual needs and goals while helping them feel comfortable, informed, and confident throughout treatment. Outside of the office, Dr. Shapiro enjoys traveling, crocheting stuffed animals for her niece and nephew, and baking, especially her signature raspberry bars.

Dr. Trisha Desai earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in American Sign Language from Temple University before receiving her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the university’s Kornberg School of Dentistry. She completed her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at Boston University and is board-eligible with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Desai is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Massachusetts Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and she is certified in CPR and Basic Life Support. She takes a warm, patient-centered approach to care, taking the time to understand each child’s individual needs and create positive dental experiences that help them feel safe and confident. She also values partnering with parents by listening to their concerns, explaining treatment clearly, and helping families make informed decisions. Dr. Desai speaks English and Gujarati. Outside of the office, she enjoys live music, hiking, traveling, and exploring new places and cultures.
