Dr. Amir Yavari

Dr. Amir Yavari is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and loves to be in the office providing care to children. When he is not in the office, he devotes his time to mentoring and educating future pediatric dentists as a faculty member at NYU Langone.

He prides himself on staying organized in both his personal and professional life, which allows him to focus on providing an optimal dental experience for his patients.

Dr. Maryam Maghsoudioo

Dr. Maryam Maghsoudloo received both her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree and her pediatric dentistry specialty certificate from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Maryam’s extensive training at BU has equipped her with the necessary skills to provide the utmost care to children of all ages. In addition, she gained substantial experience working with patients with special healthcare needs during her residency by working at Franciscan Children’s Hospital and BUMC. Dr. Maryam is committed to providing the highest quality of care to all her patients.

In her spare time, she enjoys making videos, reading bedtime stories for children, traveling, and spending time with her husband and daughter.

Dr. Harry Golnazarian

Dr. Golnazarian received his dental degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry in 2013. He then went on to complete four years of rigorous training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx. While there, he served as a chief resident at Bronx Lebanon Hospital and Jersey City Medical Center. Dr. Golnazarian is passionate about providing outstanding oral surgery care. He is dedicated to providing each of his patients with an excellent experience. His practice is primarily focused on pre-prosthetic surgery and the replacement of missing teeth with dental implants, as well as the extraction of impacted wisdom teeth. Dr. Golnazarian places an emphasis on offering safe, in-office intravenous sedation to patients who might be anxious about undergoing oral surgery. He has a full permit-A license from the Massachusetts dental board to practice general anesthesia. He also has a certification in advanced cardiac life support.

Dr. Anna Lam

Dr. Anna Lam received her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After dental school, she completed her 2-year post-doctoral pediatric specialty at NYU Langone in Providence, RI. Her training focused on the comprehensive care of pediatric patients under general anesthesia, emergency dental treatment, and children with special healthcare needs. Dr. Anna is a Rhode Island Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Other Related Disabilities Training Fellow.

Dr. Anna has a passion for working with children and strives to instill an enjoyable and fun experience. She values creating lasting relationships with both kids and their families.

In her spare time, Dr. Anna loves running, hiking, and spending time with her Shiba Inu, Sheep.

Dr. Leila Nezakatgoo

Leila Nezakatgoo, is a skilled orthodontist with 18 years of experience, based in Newton, MA. A Summa Cum Laude graduate from Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine, she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 2004 and completed her Certificate in Orthodontics at Howard University in 2006.

Beyond clinical work, she has conducted research on the accuracy of digitally cephalograms. She remains an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists, reflecting her dedication to staying at the forefront of her field.

Dr. Chloe Habib

Dr. Chloe Habib completed her undergraduate education at Boston University and was awarded her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. At Boston University, Dr. Habib graduated summa cum laude and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the only nationally recognized dental honor society, as a result of her high standards of scholarship, demonstration of exemplary traits of character, and the motivation and potential for continued professional growth.

Dr. Habib went on to complete her post-doctoral training in pediatric dentistry at the prestigious University of Maryland School of Dentistry.

Dr. Habib is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and Massachusetts Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.

Dr. Kim

Dr. Kim grew up in South Korea and moved to the San Francisco Bay Area when he was 17 years old. He attended University of California, Berkeley for his undergraduate degree in Engineering and began his career in Fashion Retail industry out of college. His passion for personal esthetics had pushed him through dentistry, where he obtained his dental degree in University of Michigan, and he continued his education in Orthodontics at Saint Louis University and became board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics, a voluntary credential that represents orthodontist’s personal and public commitment to the standards of specialty practice.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time outside trying out different restaurants in the Greater Boston area. He is an avid tennis fan (yes, he can talk to you all day about Roger Federrer) and a player at a competitive level. His favorite teams are Golden State Warriors (Sorry, Celtics fans) and Michigan Wolverines. He is happily married to a pediatric dentist who also serves the greater boston area. His favorite shows are “The Office (DWIGHT!), Parks and Recreation (Lil’ Sebastian!), and Breaking Bads (Heisenberg!)”

Dr. Eriselda Bano

Dr. Eriselda Bano is a dedicated pediatric dentist committed to providing every child with a positive, supportive, and confidence-building dental experience. She earned her first dental degree from the University of Tirana, Faculty of Dental Medicine, and continued her advanced education at the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine, graduating with high honors and induction into Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU), the National Dental Honor Society. Dr. Bano completed her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Bano is known for her gentle, child-centered approach, emphasizing calm communication, behavior guidance, and trust-building techniques that help children feel safe and proud of their smiles. She values strong partnerships with parents and strives to ensure every family feels informed, supported, and confident throughout their dental care.

Outside the office, Dr. Bano enjoys traveling, hiking, and most of all spending time with family and friends. She is a proud mother of a little girl who inspires her daily to treat every child with the same care and compassion she would want for her own family.

Dr. Shahkar

Dr. Shahkar received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Boston University in 2014.

With a strong academic background and a special interest in orthodontics, Dr. Shahkar is dedicated to providing high-quality, personalized dental care in a calm and welcoming environment. He is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), staying up to date with the latest advances in dentistry.

Dr. Shahkar is known for his patient-centered approach. He takes time to sit one-on-one with each patient, maintaining eye contact and explaining every step of treatment in friendly, easy-to-understand language. He also uses dental models and online videos to help both parents and children feel informed, comfortable, and confident throughout their visits.

He is committed to making every patient feel safe, heard, and supported, creating a positive dental experience for the entire family.

In his free time, Dr. Shahkar enjoys cooking, playing tennis, working out at the gym, exploring new restaurants, and learning about artificial intelligence and robotics.
